A tall bamboo cylinder with a steep diagonal cut at the top — 16 cm on the long side, 11.5 cm on the short side, roughly 6 cm in diameter. Turned from solid natural bamboo with visible vertical grain and a smooth matte finish, inside and out.
The slanted opening tilts longer items toward you, so pens, brushes, scissors, and rulers stay easy to reach, while the thick bamboo wall keeps it upright and quiet on the desk. It works just as well holding make-up brushes on a vanity, and reads as a considered object even half-empty.
